Description:

The Department of English and American Studies at the Humboldt-Universitaet zu
Berlin invites applications for a PhD/Postdoc position in English linguistics.
Successful candidates should hold a Master’s degree (or PhD) in English
linguistics, computational linguistics, or general linguistics with a focus on
semantics. A secondary specialisation in pragmatics or syntax will be
considered a plus. Strong interest in research and excellent proficiency in
English are required. 

The position will be part-time (66%); salary and social benefits are
determined by the German public service pay scale (E13 TV-L HU). The position
is available for up to six years, starting as soon as possible after March
2018.
