Meeting Description:

The First International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Humanities,
jointly organized by The Research Institute of Humanities Contents of Chung
Ang University, The Korean Association of Speech Communication and The Korean
Association for Posthuman Society, will be held at Chung Ang University, Seoul
campus, August 16, 2018. 

The conference aims to bring together researchers who are interested in
exploring the relations between Artificial Intelligence and various fields in
Humanities.

This year’s conference is particularly interested in the theme “Human
communication in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”.


Call for Papers:

We invite the submission of abstracts (for paper presentations) addressing the
relations between Artificial Intelligence and various fields in Humanities. 

This year’s conference is particularly interested in the theme “Human
communication in the Era of Artificial Intelligence”.  

We seek proposals addressing the relation between Artificial Intelligence and
various fields in Humanities including but not limited to: 

- AI and language
- AI and communication 
- AI and translation/interpretation
- AI and ethics
- AI and literature
- AI and sociology
- AI and cultural studies
- AI and philosophy
- AI and history
- AI and education
- AI and psychology

Talks will be 20-minute long, followed by 10-minute discussion. The official
languages of the conference are English and Korean. 

Guidelines for abstract submission:

The abstract should be written in English, and the length should not exceed
500 words (less than 1 page, not including references). Abstracts must be
submitted electronically to the following address:  aihumanities2018 at gmail.com
 
with having the author(s)’ information in a separate page including name,
affiliation, title of the presentation, and email address. 

It should be submitted in the MS word format and in the pdf format, both of
which should be titled as [AUTHOR’S NAME_abstract] (e.g., for Ahrim Kim:
ahrimkim_abstract.doc, ahrimkim_abstract.pdf). If you need to use phonetic
characters, please make sure that they are displayed correctly. 

The deadline for abstract submission is 30 April 2018. Notification of
acceptance will be communicated by 18 May 2018. 

Abstracts will be reviewed anonymously and therefore must exclude all
references to the author(s).
