Meeting Description:

The workshop dwells on recent experimental and theoretical research in syntax,
semantics and pragmatics and focuses on aspects revolving around dative
structures (ditransitives, applicatives, quirky subjects etc.) and their
semantic and pragmatic effects on discourse structure.

Call for Papers:

We welcome contributions addressing topics contributing to the enhancement of
our understanding of dative structures, with a special focus on the following:

1. Ditransitives constructions
2. Core and non-core datives
3. Applicatives
4. Case vs. Pre/Postposition alternations
5. Quirky subjects
6. Datives in discourse

We invite abstracts for 30 minute talks (plus 10 minute discussions). 
Abstracts should be no longer than 2 pages in a font size no less than 12pt
including examples and references. Abstracts should be anonymous, since
double-blind review will be adopted: contact details (Author’s name and
affiliation) and the title of the presentation should be included in the
accompanying email.
