Description:

The University of Southern Maine’s Department of Linguistics is seeking a
full-time Early College Faculty Facilitator for French or Spanish for the
2018-19 academic year to teach courses in French or Spanish and to work with
area high schools participating in French and Spanish early college/dual
enrollment programs.

The successful applicant will teach two French or Spanish courses per semester
(typically, eight credits per semester) and will serve as the primary contact
for USM between the area high schools participating in any early college/dual
enrollment programs and the Department of Linguistics. The Facilitator will
work with the high schools to establish and further institutional
relationships.  

The Facilitator will work to ensure compliance with the 2017 NACEP standards
for collaboration with the high schools, including partnership, instructors,
assessment, curriculum, students, and program evaluation.
