Full Title: Journal of Diversity and Gender Studies

Linguistic Field(s): Applied Linguistics; Discourse Analysis; Language Acquisition; Pragmatics; Sociolinguistics; Translation

Call Deadline: 10-Sep-2018

Open Call for Papers:

The Journal of Diversity and Gender Studies (DiGeSt) is a bi-annual,
international, peer-reviewed journal, published by Leuven University Press. It
is dedicated to diversity and gender studies and publishes original work from
a wide array of disciplines including sociolinguistics, anthropology,
communication sciences, sociology, political sciences, philosophy, history,
arts and literature. We are particularly interested in articles that
problematize gender and/or focus on issues dealing with diversity in all its
societal manifestations.

DiGeSt currently has an open Call for Papers (full essays, approximately 6,000
words in length) for which the deadline has been postponed until 10 September
2018. At the same time, we welcome expressions of interest for guest edited
special issues (forthcoming in 2020). All manuscripts are subject to anonymous
peer review by expert scholars and professional practitioners, and if accepted
may be subject to revision.

All inquiries and submissions should be sent to Mieke Vandenbroucke, new
editor-in-chief, Ghent University, email: digest at ugent.be
