Subject: Unusual Words Related to Relaxation

It's well known that different languages lexicalize different meanings. When I
teach introductory linguistics I often have an assignment in which students
find words in other languages whose meanings are not lexicalized in English -
for example, German schadenfreude, Danish hygge, Spanish sobremesa.

I am looking now for unusual words related to travel and/or relaxation. For
example, there's a not well-known word in English, coddiwomple, which means
to travel in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination.

I am especially interested in words from Malaysia, Bangkok, the Middle East,
Urdu, Mayan, and Nahuatl. If you are aware of unusual meanings in *any*
language that refer to travel and/or relaxation, please reply on or off-line
at nstern.ccny at gmail.com

I will be happy to share a summary of responses.
