Full Title: Babel: The Language Magazine

Linguistic Field(s): General Linguistics

Babel magazine is a popular language magazine which covers languages and
linguistics for a non-specialist readership. Babel is published quarterly in
February, May, August and November of each year.

We are currently seeking contributions for our upcoming issues. We publish
articles on all linguistic disciplines, the only requirement being that they
make linguistic research accessible to non-expert readers. Articles are
between 1,500 and 3,500 words in length.
We are particularly keen to receive contributions for our pull-out feature,
which comprises a poster illustrating a linguistic issue (places of
articulation, endangered languages, etc.) and 1,000 words on the subject. We
are also interested in submissions for our other regular features, including
Meet the Professionals, Lives in Language, and Languages of the World.
Contributors' guidelines are available on our website -
http://babelzine.com/contribute-to-babel.html.

Please contact us at editorsbabelzine.com to discuss an idea for submission.
