Meeting Description:

Chulalongkorn University Language Institute (CULI), the Language Institute of
Thammasat University (LITU) and the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Thammasat
University recognize the need for ELT professionals to expand academic
networks that enhance the exchange of thoughts and values on ELT practice and
research. In the year 2018, we call upon academics, scholars and practitioners
from ELT communities all over to join us in our joint international conference
entitled ELT Thailand 2018. The conference’s theme is Repositioning ELT for
Sustainability. Participants will explore various aspects of ELT in
contemporary contexts. ELT Thailand 2018 also allows participants to reflect
on their own ELT beliefs and practice as they experience the thoughts and
ideas that fellow participants put forward. Moreover, the conference offers a
great opportunity for ELT professionals to ignite professional collaborations.
ELT Thailand 2018, in essence, is a platform for ELT professionals to widen
their academic horizon and, at the same time, to contemplate their practice.
