Subject: Call for Book Proposals

 
We are pleased to invite proposals for books to be published in the series
“African Studies – Ciado-Sudanese Series”.

“Studi Africanistici - Serie Ciado-Sudanese” deals with all aspects of
language and linguistics within the area of West Africa and the Sahelo-Saharan
belt.

We are especially interested in the following fields of investigation:

- Language documentation (oral texts and literature)
- Language description (grammatical and lexical descriptions)
- Linguistic analysis
- Typology of West African languages
- Areal linguistics
- Historical linguistics
- Anthropology of language

Books proposals are considered year round. In order to be considered for
publication in 2018, the manuscript should reach us for evaluation before the
1 June.

The series ''Studi Africani – Serie Ciado-Sudanese'' is published by the
Department of Asian, African, and Mediterranen Studies of the University of
Naples “L'Orientale” and is directed by Sergio Baldi (University of Naples
“L’Orientale”), Gian Claudio Batic (University of Naples “L’Orientale”),
Herrmann Jungraithmayr (Goethe University Frankfurt), Rudolf Leger (Goethe
University Frankfurt), and Henry Tourneux (CNRS - LLACAN).
