Description:

The School is looking to appoint a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to provide
guidance and assistance to School staff engaged in digital humanities
research, and to lead in the development of technologies to support the
research programs of staff more broadly in the School, as well as carry out a
program of independent research activity (as proposed in the application). 
The role requires a PhD in digital humanities pertaining to the use of
technology in linguistic or cultural research.  Experience in the use of
digital-humanities-related tools with a demonstrated understanding of open
source and proprietary research software packages is required.  A
collaborative approach to research, excellent analytic skills, very good
writing abilities and the ability to consult with researchers from a variety
of disciplinary backgrounds is essential.
