Description:

As a TTS Linguistic Project Manager you will work with a TTS linguist/program
manager on coordinating execution of the launch process of new TTS voices
(language roll-out) across multiple locales, as well as managing execution
maintenance processes for launched voices.

This includes:
- Reviewing and/or creating guidelines for TTS projects involving text
processing and audio data evaluation
- Communicating with cross-functional team members to create a schedule and
track progress for the launch of new TTS voices
- Define launch timeline and track priorities and deliveries of launch
components
- Providing support for launched languages
- Possibly evaluating and analyzing data quality
 
Job requirements:
- Degree in Linguistics or experience in Phonetics/Phonology or Speech
- Native-like skills in one or preferably more Indic languages, especially
Bengali, Marathi, Urdu, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Gujarati
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
- Previous project management experience
- Plus: Some programming language or previous experience working in a Linux
environment
