Meeting Description:

The South Central Modern Language Association is a well-established regional
conference of the Modern Language Association, which will hold its 75th Annual
Conference in San Antonio, Texas.  The conference attracts a wide variety of
new and established scholars from the United States and abroad who gather to
present their research on literature, on culture, and on linguistics.


Call for Papers:

The 75th Annual Conference South Central Modern Language Association, meeting
in San Antonio, Texas, from October 11-14, 2018, invites papers for the
Section on Spanish Linguistics (any subfield).  

The Spanish Linguistics session welcomes submissions on any aspect of Spanish
Linguistics (theoretical or applied).   The papers can be in Spanish or
English.  

Please send a one-page abstract to Deborah Arteaga at deborah.arteaga at unlv.edu
by May 13, 2018.
