Meeting Description:

You are invited to take part in The 7th International Conference of APETAU in
Collaboration Zarqa University  Jordan 14-15 November 2018. Selected refereed
papers of the conference will be published in a special volume of
International Journal of Arabic-English Studies(IJAES), the journal of The
Association of Professors of English & Translation at Arab Universities
(APETAU). 

This conference is mainly meant to foster ties and links between professors of
English and translation at Arab universities on the one hand and their
colleagues in the world at large by providing a forum for them to explore the
most recent trends and developments in the fields of Linguistics, Literature
and Translation. Keynote speakers from the Arab countries and beyond will be
announced once final arrangements are made.

Guidelines for Submission 

Abstract, 100-150 words in English, including rank, affiliation, email address
and mailing address for all authors. Times New Roman 12pt font size,
single-spaced should be used. Submissions will be evaluated by a peer-review
committee. The conference working language is English.

Deadlines 

Abstracts submission June 1, 2018. 
Notification letters will be sent out by June 15, 2018. 
Full paper submission September 1, 2018.

Conference Fee: $240
Participants are requested to register on Wednesday morning (8:00-9:00),
November 14, 2018 at Zarqa University. The conference registration fee is
$240.00 (two Hundred forty US Dollars) for participants from universities
outside Jordan, to be paid in cash. The fee is payable upon arrival and covers
APETAU annual  membership fees, accommodation for three nights
(13,14,15,November) at a good hotel in Amman, the cost of conference kit;
transportation from designated hotels to the conference site and vice-versa;
coffee breaks, two lunches and dinners .Airport transportation will be also
arranged by Zarqa University.
A social program will be announced later.
