Meeting Description: 

The New Zealand Discourse Conference is a cornerstone event for research
applying discourse analytic approaches. The conference accepts abstracts
representing a wide range of disciplines, research areas and methodologies,
including critical discourse studies and CDA, corpus-assisted discourse
studies, conversation analysis and multimodal discourse analysis, among
others.

The seventh Discourse Conference is being hosted by Massey University in
Wellington, New Zealand’s capital city. We are pleased to announce that
plenary speakers for 2019 include Janet Holmes, Emeritus Professor in
Linguistics and Applied Language Studies (Victoria University of Wellington);
Professor Paul Baker (Lancaster University); and Professor Elizabeth Stokoe
(Loughborough University).

More information and a call for papers will follow in the second half of 2018.
