From: Philip Bralich [pbralich at earthlink.net]
Subject: NLP Source Code from Ergo Linguistic Technologies

In 1999, Ergo Linguistic Technologies created a small suite of NLP
applications based on a core parser that implemented the Bralich and
Bickertontheory of syntax called, ''Attach Alpha.''

The theory of syntax is complete in just 42 single-spaced pages and is
currently available at https://www.academia.edu/36440106/Attach.pdf.

The applications developed from that software that produce syntactic trees
that illustrate the theory and other applications for standard English
grammar.these are available by contacting Bralich at pbralich at earthlink.net.

The source code was originally developed in Borland C++ in 1999 and was
updated in GNU C++ in 2015. The core parser comprises 30,000 lines of code and
the core parser plus the apps comprise 50,000 lines of code and are currently
available from Bralich, but there will be a link to both versions on the
academia.edu web page on June 1.

Potential developments of this software are large, complex, dissertation sized
projects such as implementing the the theory of syntax for other languages and
then adapting the software for those languages. Significant experience with
both theoretical syntax and C++ are required for such developments.

The existing apps for English can also be extended to database searching,
internet searching, and speech recognition.

Philip A. Bralich, Ph.D.
