Meeting Description:

The Asia-Pacific Babylab Constellation (ABC) is pleased to announce its
inaugural conference. The ABC is a community of researchers and research
students working in the areas of communicative, social, and cognitive
development in infants and young children in the Asia-Pacific region. Our
mission is to provide a platform for collaboration among researchers from the
Asia-Pacific region and international colleagues interested in research
projects involving languages and cultures in the Asia-Pacific.
 
The ABC’18 conference will be held on October 4 and 5, 2018 in Singapore. This
conference will showcase a wide range of topics in the area of early
communicative development including early first and second language
acquisition, bilingualism, language representation in the brain, development
of social and pragmatic skills, culture, and interpersonal communication.

ABC’18 Conference: A Showcase of Infancy Research in the Asia-Pacific

Abstract submission: 1 April – 25 May 2018
Notification of abstract acceptance: 11 July 2018
Online registration deadline: 1 September 2018
Conference dates: 4 October – 5 October 2018
 
Abstract Submission and Presentation Formats:

Abstracts are welcome for oral and poster presentations. There is no limit on
the number of presentations by each author. Abstracts must not exceed 500
words (not including references), and they can include up to 1 figure. Please
refer to the conference website for details about the abstract submission
process.
