Meeting Description:

The Linguistics Department at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will
hold its 2019 Spring Colloquium on Saturday, April 6, 2019 with Barbara Partee
of University of Massachusetts Amherst as keynote speaker and Paul Roberge as
featured UNC speaker. Papers and posters are invited on any topic in all areas
of linguistics. Paper presentations will be 20 minutes long (in English)
followed by a 10-minute discussion period. Posters will be presented during
our coffee hour.


Call for Papers:

The Linguistics Department at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is
accepting abstracts as of 11/01/2018 for its 2019 Spring Colloquium. The
conference will be held Saturday, April 6, 2019 with Barbara Partee,
University of Massachusetts Amherst, as keynote speaker. Papers and posters
are invited on any topic in Theoretical Linguistics and Applied Linguistics.
Paper presentations will be 20 minutes long (in English) followed by a
10-minute discussion period. Posters will be presented during our coffee hour.

Abstracts should be no longer than one page in 12-point font with an optional
second page for examples, figures, tables, and/or references. 

Please do not include any author information in your abstract. Abstracts
containing identifying information will not be considered.

The deadline for submission is Friday, February 1, 2019. Those accepted will
