Meeting Description:

TLS 2019: February 22-24, 2019

The 18th Meeting of the Texas Linguistic Society will take place February
22-24, 2019 at the University of Texas at Austin. The organizers invite papers
from all sub-fields of linguistics. The main theme for this conference will be
theoretical and practical applications of language documentation and
description. There will be a special session to be announced.


2nd Call for Papers:

The keynote speakers are:

Hilaria Cruz, University of Kentucky
Itamar Francez, University of Chicago
Jenny Singleton, University of Texas at Austin
Ofelia Zepeda, University of Arizona

Presentations will be 20 minutes in length, with 10 minutes for
questions/discussion.  There will also be a poster session.

Abstract guidelines:

Length: 500 words maximum, excluding examples and references.

Format: Include the paper or poster title and the text of the abstract. The
abstract should not include the author’s name, affiliation, or other
identifying information. All abstracts will be reviewed anonymously.

Deadline for submission: November 16, 2018

Notification: December 10, 2018
