Location: Binghamton, New York, USA

Linguistic Field(s): Applied Linguistics

Subject Language(s): English (eng)

Call Deadline: 06-Nov-2018

Meeting Description:

The theme this year surrounds the idea that technology and media are an
integral part of language learning. For English language learners, we must
continue to show media in other forms outside of the textbook. This includes
multimodal texts, media not limited to images, and video. The conference
provides the opportunity to present either research or practical methods that
apply to English Language Learners. Join us to learn about practices being
incorporated in throughout New York State.

Call for Papers:

We invite proposals for 30-minute presentations (20-minute talk and 10-minute
Q&A), and 40-minute workshops on original research or pedagogical practices.
We also invite proposals for poster presentations, all of which will be
displayed for a one-hour session. Poster presentations are intended to be a
format for reports of work in progress. Although preference will be given to
proposals related to the conference theme, submissions relevant to applied
linguistics are still encouraged.
