Theme: 

''Digital Humanities and Spaces: Exploring Current Trends in Digital
Linguistics and Literature''

The Department of Linguistics and Literary Studies, with the support of the
Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, calls for abstracts for its
conference to be held on 13–16 November, 2018. The conference aims to provide
a platform for the community of interdisciplinary Digital Humanities
researchers – Digital linguists and Digital literati - to meet, present and
discuss their latest research findings, key developments and digital trends in
linguistics, language and literary studies; to explore the new opportunities
and challenges posed by DH, digital linguistics and literature, and to think
out how the humanities (particularly, linguistics and literary studies) can
exploit the opportunities offered and deal with the challenges posed by
digital technologies, for maximum impact on society.

Theme: ''Digital Humanities and Spaces: Exploring Current Trends in Digital
Linguistics and Literature''

Abstracts not exceeding 250 words, written in English, are invited in all
areas relevant to Digital Linguistics and Digital Literature, Theoretical and
General Linguistics, and Applied Linguistics as well as allied disciplines.
The selected abstracts will be considered for presentation in the main session
of the conference.

The abstracts are specifically invited in the thematic areas outlined below;
however, interested persons may submit abstracts in other relevant areas too:
