Meeting Description: 

The International Workshop ‘Datives in Discourse’ is the 2018 edition of the
series ‘Workshops on Referential Expressions in Discourse (RED)'

The workshop dwells on recent experimental and theoretical research in syntax,
semantics and pragmatics and focuses on aspects revolving around dative
structures (ditransitives, applicatives, quirky subjects etc.) and their
semantic and pragmatic effects on discourse structure.

Conference fee: none

Travel grants available when attending a workshop/conference at CRC 1252
Prominence in Language

The CRC 1252 Prominence in Language at the University of Cologne offers 4
travel grants of up to 500 Euros when attending a workshop or conference at
the CRC 1252.

For your application, please prepare a document of about one page containing
the following information:

1. Name and affiliation
2. Conference you are attending/ function of the conference (talk, personal
added value)
3. If applicable: short abstract of your contribution/ your interest in the
conference
4. Short description of why you yourself or your University cannot fund the
travel.
