Description:

A tenure-track appointment is intended in the area of Computational
Linguistics beginning September 2019 associated with the Professional Master's
program and PhD track in Computational Linguistics. University of Washington
faculty engage in teaching, research and service; the successful applicant
will be highly qualified to teach graduate and undergraduate courses,
supervise student research, and develop a high-impact research program.
Anticipated duties include teaching and research in computational semantics or
pragmatics. The Assistant Professor will be expected to complement and build
on existing strengths within the department, and to interact with students and
faculty from the broader linguistics and language processing community at the
University of Washington. 

This position is full-time (100% FTE), with a 9-month service period.

Qualifications: 
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree or foreign equivalent in Linguistics,
Computer Science, or other related field at the start of the appointment.
