Subject: How to use ''no'' and ''not''

I am writing to ask about how to use ''no''
and ''not''.

How do you distinguish following sentences?

(1) a. I don’t have any money.
      b. I have no money.

(2) a. I don’t have any sister.
      b. I have no sister.

(3) a. Nobody spoke a word.
     b. Everybody did not speak a word.

(4) a. He is no taller than me.
     b. He is not taller than me.

Thank you for your help in advance.
