How to use ''no'' and ''not''

I am writing to ask about how to use ''no''
and ''not''.

How do you distinguish following sentences?

(1) If the person whom you don’t want to lend any money asks you to lend some
money, which expressions do you use? And why?

a. I don’t have any money.
b. I have no money.

(2) If your friend asks if you have a sister, which expression do you use? And
why?

a. I don’t have any sister.
b. I have no sister.

(3) Please explain the difference of meaning between a and b.

a. Nobody spoke a word.
b. Everybody did not speak a word.

(4) Please explain the difference of meaning between a and b.

a. He is no taller than me.
b. He is not taller than me.

Thank you for your help in advance.
