The American Research Institute of the South Caucasus (ARISC) announces
funding opportunities for 2018-19.

ARISC Graduate/Postdoctoral Fellowships

ARISC announces the availability of graduate/postdoctoral fellowships in
support of research in the South Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, and/or
Georgia). Awards will be made for a maximum of $1500 each. Projects in all
fields in the social sciences, humanities and related sciences are eligible.
The purpose of the fellowship is to help cover travel and/or living expenses
in the South Caucasus. Due date: Friday, December 28, 2018.

Stipends for Lectures and Workshops 

ARISC invites applications for U.S. scholars to conduct lectures and/or
workshops in the South Caucasus countries of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.
All topics in the social sciences, humanities, and related sciences are
eligible, and a list of preferred topics is included on our website. Selected
applicants will be given a $200 stipend for a lecture, or $500 for an all-day

Friday, November 23, 2018, in order for the applicant to be considered for the
priority deadline. 

Funding for this opportunity is made possible through a grant from the Council
of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC).
