Description:

The School of Foreign Studies at Guilin University of Technology
(www.glut.edu.cn) invites qualified applicants to apply for research and
teaching positions in the areas of linguistics, English literature,
translation studies and other language related transdisciplinary fields. 

Applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas (theoretical
linguistics, language teaching, psycholinguistics, cognitive linguistics,
corpus linguistics, literature, language comparison and translation studies
and other interdisciplinary studies of language and linguistics) as well as
experience with teaching English language skills for academic and professional
purposes (e.g., business, tourism, management, engineering) are warmly
welcomed to apply. The successful applicants will be expected to conduct
cutting-edge research in language, literature and culture and teach courses at
undergraduate and graduate levels. 

Applicants must have:
- A PhD in Linguistics, Applied Linguistics, literature or other relevant
fields by the date of application. 
- Demonstrated expertise with academic research in the relevant fields.
- Native or near-native English proficiency for teaching and research.
- Excellent and demonstrated self-management skills, ability and willingness
to work in a team
