Meeting Description:

The Department of Applied Linguistics, GC University Faisalabad (GCUF), in
collaboration with the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC) will host
the 5th International Conference of the Linguistic Association of Pakistan
(ICLAP 2019) between 06-08 November, 2019, in Faisalabad. The theme of this
year's conference is “Language Study: Global Debates and Indigenous
Perspectives”.


Call for Papers:

Researchers are invited to submit abstracts of their papers on original and
unpublished research work on any aspect of theoretical or applied linguistics
for presentation in the conference by Monday, 10 June 2019 via Easy Chair
(https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=iclap2019). Abstracts should be
written in English and the size of an abstract should not exceed 350 words
excluding title, keywords and references. Please follow the Guidelines for
Abstracts, given on the conference webpage. If you do not already have your
Easy Chair account, you need to create it to submit your abstract.

All abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the conference
book and full papers (after peer-review) will be published in the Pakistan
Journal of Language Studies (PJLS) - a peer-reviewed journal published by the
Department of Applied Linguistics, GC University Faisalabad (GCUF).
