Meeting Description:

The Department of Linguistics and Contrastive Study of Tribal Languages,
Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak (Madhya Pradesh) is
pleased to announce that the 41st International Conference of the Linguistic
Society of India (ICOLSI-41) will be held at the campus of Indira Gandhi
National Tribal University, Amarkantak from November 13-15, 2019. Abstracts
are invited for oral and poster presentations on substantial, original and
unpublished research on all aspects of theoretical and applied linguistics,
with a particular focus on languages and linguistic applications relevant to
South Asia.

Important Dates:

Submission of abstracts: August 30, 2019
Decision on submissions: September 20, 2019
Full paper submissions: October 15, 2019

Call for Papers:

Abstracts should be submitted in English and should be sent by August 30, 2019
through EasyChair. Participants are requested not to include author details in
the abstract and the final paper to facilitate blind review. A word file
consisting of the name and affiliation of the author must be sent in a
separate file.

Abstracts not exceeding 300 words excluding title and references are invited
in all areas relevant to Theoretical Linguistics, Applied Linguistics as well
as allied disciplines. All submission will undergo the standard blind
reviewing process. The authors of the selected abstracts would be asked to

Authors may submit not more than one individual proposal. However, they may
submit more than one joint (co-authored) proposals. The abstracts should be
anonymous, and fit on at most two pages including examples, tables/figures and
references (using 12-point TIMES NEW ROMAN with 1'' margins).
