Description:

Western Sydney University is a modern, forward-thinking, research-led

The MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development is an
interdisciplinary research institute of Western Sydney University. Within the
Institute is the MARCS BabyLab - a core research facility hosting personnel
from within the Institute and associated Schools, with facilities located on
the Bankstown, Kingswood and Westmead Campuses. BabyLab is home to more than a
dozen researchers and builds on a foundation of research established at
Western by research leaders Professors Denis Burnham, Anne Cutler, and
Catherine Best.

We are seeking a distinguished scholar to lead high-quality research and a
team of researchers and students in Infant Studies, ensuring that the BabyLab
is positioned nationally and globally for innovative and high-impact research.
The position will work with the Institute Director and Dean of School to
address local and national research priorities including forging new
collaborative partnerships with external organisations, schools, early
learning and healthcare providers.

The Associate Professor/Professor in Infant Studies/BabyLab Leader would hold
an ongoing (tenured) joint position within the School of Education and the
MARCS Institute for Brain, Behaviour and Development.
