Job Summary: 
East Tennessee State University invites applications for a lectureship in ESL
beginning January 15, 2020. The position involves a 4/4 teaching load of ESL
first-year writing and oral/skills and possibly some upper-level linguistics
courses, and some service expectations.

9-month renewable contract with opportunities for promotion to Senior and
Master Lecturer – see ETSU Faculty Handbook.

Salary: $30,000 includes benefits.

Required Qualifications: 
Minimum M.A. in English with TESOL specification, TESOL, or Linguistics at
time of appointment and ESL teaching experience at tertiary level (will
consider TA experience).

Preferred Qualifications: 
PhD in linguistics/TESOL and experience teaching ESL writing and oral/aural
skills.
