Meeting Description: 

The University of Oregon is pleased to host the 48th annual meeting of New
Ways of Analyzing Variation (NWAV), from October 10 to 12, 2019.  NWAV is the
leading conference on language variation and change.

This year's plenary speakers are:

- Renée Blake, New York University
- Alexandra D’Arcy, University of Victoria
- Devyani Sharma, Queen Mary University of London

The NWAV48 program is available at: https://nwav48.uoregon.edu/program/ 

Note that we are using a software program called Sched that enables the
creation and hosting of an interactive conference program. Sched has some
nuances that can be a little confusing at first, but overall provides a
searchable and customizable version of the program and we hope conference
attendees and interested persons find it useful.
