Description:

The CSU Dominguez Hills Department of English is hiring an Assistant/Associate
Professor of English with a specialty in Applied Linguistics. The successful
candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate courses in both our B.A.
program in Language and Linguistics and our M.A. program in TESL. She/he will
be expected to maintain an active research agenda and serve on department,
college, and/or university committees. 

Desired fields of teaching and research expertise include:  
- ESL/EFL Reading and Composition; 
- Literacy Studies; 
- Multilingualism; 
- Sociolinguistics; 
- Discourse Analysis; 
- World Englishes
