Meeting Description:

Meeting Clitics will take place during the Romance Turn in Ibiza-Eivissa. This
workshop intends to gather people working on any aspect of the acquisition of
clitic pronouns. Nowadays there are theoretical explanations that assume that
clitics are morphemes of the verb and other explanations that assume that they
are constituents in the sentence. Also, some proposals assume that clitics
have their own designated position, while others assume that they move. With
respect to the acquisition of clitics, some studies find clitic omission,
sometimes depending on linguistic properties (e.g. participle agreement,
object drop). All topics on clitic pronouns and its acquisition will be
considered.

Call for Papers:

Papers are invited for oral and poster presentations in the area of the
acquisition of Romance languages. All topics in the field of the Acquisition
