Meeting Description:

WIUT is pleased to host the 9th International Conference on Foreign Language
Teaching and Applied Linguistics(FLTAL). The FLTAL conference aims to bring
together local and international researchers, practitioners, and educators
with interests in language teaching and linguistics. The theme of the 2019
FLTAL conference, ''Creative Multilingual Identities: The Influence of
Multilingual Identity on Foreign Language Learning,'' is designed to
contribute to the multilingual turn within the field by promoting research,
discussions, and an exchange of expertise around multilingualism and identity
in relation to foreign language teaching and learning.

The deadline for proposal submission is March 5, 2019. The notification of
acceptance will be sent by March 15, 2019.

Call for Papers:

The conference welcomes proposals on a broad range of topics concerned with
multilingual identities and foreign language teaching and learning in
education, linguistics, sociolinguistics, bi/multilingualism, assessment,
literacy, transnational and translingual communities. You may find a complete

Proposals:

Proposals will be evaluated according to originality of the theme and
scholarly contribution of research and/or practice, as applicable. The
deadline for proposal submission is March 5, 2019. The notification of
acceptance will be sent by March 15, 2019.

Submission guidelines:

Proposals should include the following elements: 
1) the name and surname of the author(s); 
2) the affiliation of the author(s); 
3) the email address(es) of the author(s); 
4) the title of the presentation (up to 15 words); 
5) an abstract with a clear description of the aims, methodology and results
of the research project and/or practice (250-300 words).

The conference working languages are English, Russian, Turkish and Uzbek.
Speakers will be given 20 minutes to deliver their presentations and 10
minutes to answer questions and receive feedback from the audience.

To submit your proposal, please download the Abstract Submission Form from the
conference website, www.fltal.org. Please e-mail your completed forms to
fltalproceedings at gmail.com with ''FLTAL 2019 Abstract Form'' in the subject
line.

If you want your work to be considered for publication, please send us the
final version by June 10, 2019. We have previously coordinated publication
with journals including, J-FLTAL Journal, Cambridge Scholars Publishing,
Special Issue in European Journal of Education Studies, and the International
Journal of Psycho-Educational Sciences.
