Meeting Description:

The 2019 DISPOC Conference on Brain, Learning and Language, will be held in
Siena on September 26th-28th and will be hosted by the Department of Social,
Political and Cognitive Sciences of the University of Siena. We welcome
contributions from any area of cognitive science, with special emphasis on the
interaction between disciplines studying cognitive and social processes,
learning, and language. 
The Conference aims at bringing together contributions from different fields,
to foster the interdisciplinary exploration of the cognitive and
neurobiological foundations of learning and on the relations between language
and other cognitive functions. 

Submissions are encouraged from various disciplines including linguistics,
philosophy, psychology, political sciences, economics, and ethics on the
following themes:

- Neurological mechanisms of learning and cognitive processing
- Language acquisition, language processing and their relations with other
cognitive functions
- Learning and representations of economic, political and social behaviors 
- Reasoning, rationality and cognition
- Language, Mind and Cognition, from a philosophical and epistemological
perspective.

Call for Papers:

We are looking for the following types of submissions:
- Oral presentations (20 minutes + 10 for discussion)
- Posters

Proposals should be anonymous and limited to a single A4 page, 500 words in
total (Times New Roman, 12 pt), including - if needed - all supplementary
materials (e.g. artwork, tables, references, …)

Submissions can be uploaded via EasyChair until April 30, 2019 and decisions
will be notified no later than June 1, 2019.
