Call Deadline: 15-Apr-2019

Meeting Description:

Call for papers to the International Symposium '' Corpus philosophie: corpus a
(p)prendre '' organized by '' philéduc '' project LiDiLEM laboratory - U.
Grenoble-Alpes
Grenoble, 20 - 22 November 2019
This international symposium propose to researchers to work on a corpus that
we have collected and transcribed : '' Corpus philo : corpus a(p)prendre ''.
Website : https://corpusapprendre.sciencesconf.org/

Call for Papers:

Since 2013, the LiDiLEM laboratory has been organizing seminars in Grenoble on
the conditions and manifestations of reflective thinking in the Philosophical
Aimed Discussion. Three seminars were held (2013, 2015 & 2017) bringing
together researchers and practitioners working on the theme of philosophy for
children and adolescents. The organization of this international symposium is
an opportunity to expand the network by proposing to other researchers to work
on a corpus that we have collected and transcribed. This is the meaning of
this call for contributions: '' Corpus philo : corpus a(p)prendre ''.

During the workshop of 2015, we were surprised that the analyses often
converged on the same extracts from the corpus. The challenges of this
conference would be to continue in this perspective by asking everyone, with a
specialized point of view to propose an analysis of the ''corpus à(p)prende''
(''Corpus to take'') that will be made available. Our aim is to generate
multiple interpretations to be discussed.

For us, this corpus can be both an object that allows a better knowledge of
the practice of philosophy with children and as relevant data for researchs
related to reasoning, argumentation, language, thought, development, the body
and emotions, etc. We consider this ''corpus to be taken'' can renew and
enrich knowledge and questions in theses fields of research.

The contributions may propose an analysis:
- of the argumentative logic;
- of interactive logic;
- of the semantics of speeches;
- the multi-modality of language;
- of interlocutory logic;
- the construction of concepts;
- of reasoning;
- elements of language philosophy...

These few examples are not exhaustive.

The Corpus:

The corpus transcriptions will be available to researchers. The main
constraint is that the contribution proposals must be based on an analysis of
the corpus.
It consists of transcriptions (in French) of philosophical discussions
conducted in a college (11/12 years old) of Grenoble and in a primary rural
class (8/9 years old). This corpus is based on Anda Fournel's thesis (2018).
Analyse pragmatique et actionnelle de l’acte de questionner. Le questionnement
chez des élèves de primaire et de collège pratiquant la philosophie à l’école.
Linguistique. Université Grenoble Alpes, 2018. Français.
