Position Description Role: Speech Data Ops Engineer

Duration: 6 months  

Project Overview:
Global Search Engine is seeking a Language Engineer who specializes in voice
building to work on speech synthesis projects.. This is an opportunity to work
on cutting edge technology in a dynamic team of world-class experts. The
Speech Data Ops Engineer will manage projects and technical tasks related to
building and testing Text-to-Speech voices, and reporting technical and
operational results.Overall Responsibilities: They will be helping with
technical tasks involved in creating and testing speech synthesizers. 

This Includes:
- Large scale data mining.
- Customizing voice building tools.
- Text-to-Speech quality evaluation and testing.
- Text-to-Speech Voice building pipeline.
- Technical documentation.
- Dashboard maintenance.  

Skill/Experience/Education:

Mandatory: 
- BS in Computer Science or closely related discipline.  
- 1+ years of work experience (willing to consider new grads with strong
internship experience). 
- 1+ years of experience in Unix/Version Control Systems and a modern
programming language (Python/C++ Preferred).  
- Basic programming skills (e.g. Python, shell scripting, regular expressions,
bash, etc.)  
- SQL/databases.  
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills, target driven.  
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and learn in-house tools.  

Desired:  
- Interest in machine learning and speech technology a plus
