Call for Papers: 

Dear Colleagues,
We invite you to submit original and unpublished papers (up to 6,000 words),
project reports (up to 2,000 words) and book reviews for TEANGA, the Journal
of the Irish Association for Applied Linguistics Volume 26.

The peer-reviewed journal TEANGA (the Irish word for 'language') was first
published by IRAAL in l979. Originally devoted exclusively to papers presented
at IRAAL seminars and conferences, TEANGA now includes the best of these
papers, as well as book reviews, research and project reports, and other
significant contributions in applied linguistics. Since 2016, TEANGA has been
published as a bilingual, open-access online academic journal, commencing with
Volume 24. The current editors are Stephen Lucek, Colin Flynn and Úna
Bhreathnach.

The deadline for submissions is February 28, 2019. Authors will be notified by
June 1, 2019 of the preliminary review outcome. Submissions should be made on
the journal website, where detailed guidelines for manuscripts and proposals
are available. All contributions will be reviewed on a double-blind basis
before final review by the editors. Publication of the journal is scheduled
for the IRAAL Annual Conference in November 2019.

a chur isteach chuig TEANGA, iris Chumann na Teangeolaíochta Feidhmí, Eagrán

D'fhoilsigh Cumann na Teangeolaíochta Feidhmí (IRAAL) an iris phiarmheasta
TEANGA don chéad uair i 1979. Ar dtús, bhí sí dírithe ar pháipéir a cuireadh i
láthair ag seimineáir agus comhdhálacha IRAAL, ach anois cuirtear san áireamh
an chuid is fearr de na páipéir seo mar aon le léirmheasanna ar leabhair, agus
tuairiscí ar thaighde, ar thionscadail agus ar imeachtaí tábhachtacha eile na
teangeolaíochta feidhmí. Ó 2016 (Eagrán 24) i leith, tá TEANGA á foilsiú mar
iris dhátheangach acadúil a bhfuil rochtain oscailte uirthi. Is iad Stephen
Lucek, Colin Flynn agus Úna Bhreathnach na heagarthóirí reatha.

Is é 28 Feabhra, 2019 an spriocdháta d'aighneachtaí. Cuirfear toradh an
réamhphróisis léirbhreithnithe in iúl d'údair faoi 1 Meitheamh, 2019. Ba chóir
aighneachtaí a dhéanamh ag suíomh na hirise agus tá treoracha mionsonraithe ar
fáil ansin. Déanfar piarmheasúnú dall dúbailte ar gach alt sula ndéanann na
