17 - 18 October 2019

The Department of English at the Faculty of Education, Purkyne University
announces its ninth international conference for academics and practitioners
involved in educating teachers of foreign languages. CHALLENGES is an ongoing
series of conferences organized by the English Department at Purkyne
University (UJEP). The main aim of the conference is to share current views,
new trends, innovative ideas and experience in foreign language teaching and
teacher education. The plenary talk will be held by an internationally
renowned researcher.

A selection of accepted papers will be published in our series of ELT volumes
by an international publishing house.

Presentations:

Presentations will be 20 minutes in length with 10 minutes for questions and
discussion.

Conference fee:

The conference is project-funded. We are able to admit speakers free of
charge.

Literary studies and teaching

Abstracts:

Abstracts should be around 200 words, not including examples and references. 
Submission ends 31 July, 2019.
