Meeting Description:

ELT professionals who wish their teaching to be informed by current research
in the field may be faced with a challenge: finding relevant publications
which are both accessible and of practical application in their own specific
teaching contexts. This two-day event was conceived to reduce the divide
between research into the teaching and learning of English and everyday
classroom practice.

This conference will bring together curious teachers, researchers and
practitioner-researchers to promote a spirit of enquiry and mutually
beneficial collaboration. We hope to achieve a common aim: demystifying
research and encouraging teachers to read, engage with, and participate in
relevant studies with clear practical grounding in order to bridge the gap
between theory and practice.

Call for Papers:

The conference will include 30 minute talks (20 min. presentation and 10 min.
for questions) and 45 minute workshops, which include audience participation.
Please indicate which format you wish to present when you submit your
abstract.
