Meeting Description:

Poster session on Computational Linguistics as part of the 42nd meeting of the
German Society for Linguistics (DGfS 2020) conference in Hamburg. The poster
session is organized by the Special Interest Group on Computational
Linguistics of the DGfS.


Call for Papers:

We would like to invite abstract submissions for the computational linguistics
poster session of the 42nd meeting of the German Society for Linguistics (DGfS
2020) conference in Hamburg. This conference brings together numerous
subfields of linguistics, so this is an opportunity to share your work with
colleagues both in and out of the computational linguistics field. We invite
international submissions from all areas of computational linguistics and
natural language processing, ranging from machine translation and information
retrieval to speech and dialogue systems and cognitive modeling. We especially
encourage submissions related to the main conference topic 'Linguistic
Diversity: Theories, Methods, Resources'. Submissions can be in German or
English.

The poster session is organized by the Special Interest Group on Computational
Linguistics of the DGfS.

Important Dates:

- Abstract submission due: August 30, 2019
- Notification of acceptance: September 30, 2019
- Final abstracts due: November 10, 2019
- Conference dates: March 4-6, 2020

Submission:

Submitted abstracts should be:
- English or German,
- one A4 page, including title and references,
- single-spacing, regular 11 or 12pt font,
- PDF file.

Travel Grants:

A limited number of travel grants of up to 500 Euro each are available for
accepted contributions by DGfS members without/with low income.
