Meeting Description:

(Session of Diachronic Generative Syntax 22)

Uniformitarianism means assuming that the past is like the present. Work on
syntactic change in historically-attested languages, however, has often
proceeded in relative isolation from work on syntactic change in progress.
This workshop aims to change that. Keynote speakers are Sali Tagliamonte
(Toronto) and David Willis (Cambridge).
