Description:

The Program in Linguistics at Princeton University invites applications for
one or more non-renewable, academic year 2019-2020 Lecturer positions starting
September 1, 2019 or later during the 2019-2020 academic year.   

Successful candidates will be expected to teach courses in some of the
following areas: Phonetics and Phonology, Field Methods, Historical
Linguistics, Morphology, Typology, and/or areal courses (e.g. Languages of
Africa/the Americas/East Asia/etc.). It is anticipated that the Program in
Linguistics will have the opportunity to hire one candidate to teach four
courses and a second candidate to teach two courses, pending sufficient
enrollments.   

A Ph.D. in Linguistics or relevant discipline required within the past five
years and by no later than September 1, 2019.   

Interested candidates must submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, a teaching
statement, and contact information for at least three references to the

8, 2019. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until a
final decision is made.
