TESOL/ESL/Linguistics/Spanish Instructor
The Department of Modern Languages and Linguistics of North Greenville
University invites applicants for the position of instructor, who can teach,
beginning August 2019, two or more of the following subjects:  TESOL, Spanish,
or Linguistics.

Qualifications: 
The successful candidate will hold a Master’s degree and a minimum of 18
graduate hours in two or more of these fields: ESL, TESL, Linguistics, or
Spanish. If Spanish is one of the fields, the applicant should be a (near)
native speaker of Spanish and English. The position will include full-time
office hours, advising, and committee and other departmental service
responsibilities as necessary. The successful candidate will also possess a
proven record of, and passion for, teaching, mentoring, and inspiring
undergraduate students. If the area of expertise is TESL/ESL, the candidate
should ideally qualify for the SC Department of Education ESOL certification.
NGU professors are expected to be orthodox Christians who have a strong
personal faith, are role models in their piety and ethics, are regularly
reflecting upon how their faith influences their discipline and are willing
and able to mentor students in their own relationship with Jesus Christ. We
particularly invite candidates who will enhance the racial, ethnic, or
cultural diversity of our university.

summarizing your basic doctrinal convictions, a statement explaining how you
integrate your faith and teaching, copies of all graduate and undergraduate
