Description:

The Department of Global Studies and World Languages seeks applications for a
fixed-term/9 month Instructor/Assistant Professor of Spanish position. The
teaching load is a 3/3 teaching load of 4-credit classes. The successful
candidate must be able to teach both upper-division linguistics courses
(Spanish Linguistics, Spanish Phonetics) and lower-division Spanish language
courses. All courses are conducted in Spanish. 

Minimum qualifications for this position are:
- MA in Spanish; 
- Experience teaching Spanish at an institution of higher education; and 
- A demonstrated commitment to quality teaching. 

Note that WSU does not sponsor work visas for fixed-term appointments.
