Description:

A non-tenure-track appointment is intended in the area of computational
linguistics beginning September 16, 2019 and ending June 15, 2020, associated
with the professional MS program and PhD track in Computational Linguistics.
University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service; the
successful applicant will teach graduate courses and supervise graduate
students. This position is full-time (100% FTE), with a 9-month service
period.

We are interested in scholars active in all areas of computational
linguistics. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. The successful
candidate will be expected to complement existing strengths within the
department and will interact with students and faculty from the broader speech
and language processing community at the University of Washington.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree, or foreign equivalent, in Linguistics,
Computer Science, or related field and be highly qualified for graduate
teaching and independent research.
