Description:

Responsibilities include:
- Conducting research and teaching both at the undergraduate and graduate
level in
Slavic Linguistics with a main focus on Russian Linguistics and a secondary
focus on
West or South Slavic Linguistics;
- Collaborating closely with the researchers in Literary and Cultural Studies,
Language
Education as well as Subject-Specific Education at the Department of Slavic
Studies;
- Collaborating with the Faculty’s and the University’s research centres and
research
areas;
- Acquiring third-party funds;
- Participation in the Bachelor and Master degree programmes in Slavic
Studies, the
teacher training programme of the Russian language, and the doctoral programme
in
linguistics and media studies;
- Readiness to engage in administrative tasks including leading functions
(e.g. in the
University’s Russian Centre, the Department of Slavic Studies) and to
coordinate the
Department’s language training courses.
- Supporting and mentoring early-career researchers.

Eligibility requirements include:
- A pertinent degree in higher education, 
- A pertinent habilitation or equivalent qualification,
- Publications in leading international peer-reviewed journals, 
- Involvement in international research, 
- Russian proficiency at level C2,
- Proficiency in one of the West or South Slavic languages and in German at
level B2, evidence of didactic skills.

The University of Innsbruck is committed to increasing the percentage of

The basic salary is set down in the collective bargaining agreement for
university employees.
Professors are in the remuneration group A 1. For the position the monthly
salary before tax
is 5.130,20 Euro (14 x). Depending on qualification and experience a higher
salary can be a
topic in the negotiations with the rector. Beyond that the university offers
