Description:

The research group on German in Multilingual Contexts at the Department of
German language and linguistics at Humboldt University Berlin invites
applications for a postdoc position (100%) to be filled by September 1st on a
permanent basis (Reference number: AN/165/19).

Job description:
Research and teaching at the chair for German in Multilingual Contexts (Prof.
Heike Wiese), 
participation in a new centre ‘Language in Urban Diversity’; 
conducting classes and exams in the department’s BA and MA programmes on
topics of language acquisition, language development, multilingualism,
linguistic systems, variability and change.

The position will be full time (100%);
salary and social benefits are determined by the German public service pay
scale (E13 TV-L).
 
Requirements:
Applicants should have an academic degree (Master/Magister/1.Staatsexamen) in
German or Linguistics, at least 3 years of postgraduate experience after
completion,  and a PhD in German Linguistics or a comparable field.

Knowledge of theories of German as a foreign or second language is mandatory,
as well as an excellent command of German and English.
