Description:

The Department of French and Italian at Brigham Young University invites
applications for an Assistant or Associate Professor in French starting Fall
Semester 2020.

The successful candidate will teach French language, literature, culture
courses of all levels.  He/she is also expected to engage in scholarly
activity, advise students, and provide service to department, college,
university, and broader community.

Qualifications:
- PhD in French or related discipline completed before contract start date.
- Native or near-native fluency in French and English is expected.

- Curriculum Vitae,
- Cover letter, and
- Writing sample in addition to the faculty application.

You will be asked to list the individual contact information for each of your
three recommenders on the faculty application. At some point during the
selection process they may be contacted to submit their letters of reference
electronically.
