Description:

The psychology department at Royal Holloway, University of London is offering
a few PhD positions. 

Among the list of potential projects there are several language-related
projects including two on language evolution:
- Language evolution from a social networks perspective (supervisory team:
Shiri Lev-Ari and Ryan McKay)
- Receivers and the evolution of cultural behaviour in bird song (supervisory
team: Robert Lachlan, Shiri Lev-Ari, and Kathy Rastle)

Applications are due on January 3rd. These require a full proposal with the
entire experimental plan for the PhD, and need to be written together and with
support from the supervisory team. Therefore, interested applicants should
contact the supervisory team ASAP.

with European citizenship.
